City Standards<\/strong><\/p>\n

All work shall be constructed in conformance with “The Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction” (GREENBOOK) unless otherwise noted and approved by City.<\/p>\n

City standards provide information on how to perform work in the public right-of-way. Standards are general guidelines used by Contractors and builders on how to repair, replace, restore, construct and install a structure, facility, or system or a portion thereof. City standards are strictly adhered to when doing work in the public right-of-way. Standards help to ensure and maintain a public environment that is safe and conforming to the overall appearance of the City. Standards are routinely enforced by inspections and by Code Enforcement.<\/p>\n

Additionally refer to the latest edition of APWA (Standard Plans for Public works Construction – SPPWC) and Caltrans Access Ramp Standard Plans for details not listed below.<\/p>\n
