On an as-needed basis, the City of Gardena Public Works Department evaluates sidewalks, curbs, and gutters along the roads and performs repairs when warranted, including ramping, grinding, or replacement. Property owners are responsible for routine maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, such as sweeping, and removal of debris and trash. The replacement of driveway aprons (approaches) are the responsibility of the homeowner. If you desire to replace the driveway approach, you need to secure a permit from the Engineering Division.<\/p>\n<\/div>
