The Housing and Urban Development (HUD)<\/strong> funds subsidized housing for seniors and the disabled. Rent payments are based on annual income. Questions about additional senior housing projects can be directed to the main HUD office located in Los Angeles at (213) 894-8000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Cooperative Services is the local management office for the senior housing sites in the greater Gardena area. Their office is located at: 201 E. Huntington Drive, Suite #101, Monrovia, CA 91016. Their telephone number is (626) 599-8464<\/strong> and they can answer questions about senior housing developments. To place a name on the waiting list call (800) 500-7725<\/strong> – Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10:00 a.m., to 2:00 p.m. Leave the name of the person to be placed on the waiting list including telephone number with the area code.
