California Public Records Act that requires local agencies to create a catalog of Enterprise Systems by July 1, 2016 with annual updates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cityofgardena.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/SB272.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">City of Gardena&#8217;s Catalog of Enterprise System<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A software application or computer system that collects, stores, exchanges and analyzes information that the agency uses that is both of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A multi-departmental systems or systems that contains information collected about the public.<\/li>\n<li>A system that serves as an original source of date within an agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:100%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:0px;--awb-width-medium:100%;--awb-spacing-right-medium:0px;--awb-spacing-left-medium:0px;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-spacing-right-small:0px;--awb-spacing-left-small:0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p><strong>An Enterprise System does not include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information Technology security systems, including firewalls and other cybersecurity systems.<\/li>\n<li>Physical access control systems, employee identification management systems, video monitoring and other physical control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure and mechanical control systems, including those that control or manage street lights, electrical, natural gas or water or sewer functions.<\/li>\n<li>Systems related to 911 dispatch and operation or emergency services.<\/li>\n<li>Systems that would be restricted from disclosure by Section 6254.19.<\/li>\n<li>The specific records that the information technology system collects, stores, or exchanges or analyzes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:100%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:0px;--awb-width-medium:100%;--awb-spacing-right-medium:0px;--awb-spacing-left-medium:0px;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-spacing-right-small:0px;--awb-spacing-left-small:0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p><strong>Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong>Create a catalog of enterprise systems that contain:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Current system Vendor<\/li>\n<li>Current system product<\/li>\n<li>System&#8217;s purpose<\/li>\n<li>A description of categories or types of date<\/li>\n<li>The department that is prime custodian of the data<\/li>\n<li>The frequency that system data is collected<\/li>\n<li>The frequency that system date is updated<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>To make the catalog publicly available upon request.<\/li>\n<li>To post the catalog in a prominent location on the agency&#8217;s
