On October 22, 2019, the City Council voted, 5-0, to adopt Resolution No. 6403 adopting a Wireless Facilities Policy.

On November 12, 2019, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1806 to modify the manner in which the City processes applications for wireless facilities in order to comply with federal rules and regulations.

The Wireless Facilities Policy is applicable to all existing wireless facilities and all applications and requests for authorization to construct, install, attach, operate, collocate, modify, reconstruct, relocate or otherwise deploy wireless facilities within the City, whether on private property or within the public rights-of-way. It includes special provisions for macro wireless facilities, eligible facilities, small wireless facilities, and temporary wireless facilities.
